Corprate.io, CVR no. 40329099, is the data controller and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable personal data legislation, as stipulated by the EU and national authorities.

When you give your consent and use our platform to rate a company or agency, Corprate.io collects the following data about you: name, contact information and the information that you may otherwise provide as part of your rating. Ratings must not contain sensitive personal data, and you must avoid sending sensitive personal data to Corprate.io. If Corprate.io receives sensitive personal data, it will be deleted.

Corprate.io stores your data with external suppliers with whom we have entered into data processor agreements.

Corprate.io saves your data until you ask us to delete it. The legal basis for Corprate.io’s processing of your data is this consent and our legitimate interests as part of the operation of our rating platform.

The collection of your data is done using a chatbot via Facebook Messenger. If you do not have a Facebook Messenger profile, you can choose to rate as a “guest user”. When you continue as a guest, you accept Facebook’s terms: facebook.com/terms. An agreement has been entered into between us and Facebook on shared data responsibility, where Facebook has assumed responsibility for fulfilling your rights – including deletion – under the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in relation to their collection and use of your information. The link above shows you how to exercise your rights in relation to Facebook.

Your consent to Corprate.io includes consent for Corprate.io to use your data to compile statistics for resale to third parties. In connection with the compilation and sale of statistics, your name and contact information will not be passed on. The information used to compile statistics is age, region of residence, gender and other information related to the rated recruitment experience.

You are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time by sending an e-mail to datapolicy@Corprate.io or by writing to: Corprate.io, Vermundsgade 38 E, 2. th., 2100 Copenhagen Ø. If you elect to withdraw your consent, this does not affect the legality of our processing of your personal data on the basis of your previous consent up to the date of your withdrawal of consent. If you withdraw your consent, it will therefore only apply from this date.

Once your rating is ready for publication, your rating will be completely anonymous. This means that the rating text does not contain personal data in the form of name, contact information and similar information.

Corprate.io saves your data until you ask us to delete it. As a rule, you are not entitled to have your review deleted, as it is fully anonymised.

Your rights
Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights regarding our processing of data about you. If you wish to exercise your rights, you must contact us.

The right to access data: You have the right to access the information that we process about you as well as a range of additional data.

The right to rectification: You are entitled to have incorrect data about yourself corrected.

The right to erasure: In exceptional circumstances, you are entitled to have data about you erased prior to the standard date of erasure.

The right to restrict processing: In certain circumstances, you are entitled to restrict the processing of your personal data. If you are entitled to restrict processing, we will only be permitted in future to process the data – with the exception of storage – with your consent or in order to ascertain, invoke or defend legal claims or to protect a person or important societal interests.

The right to object: In certain circumstances, you are entitled to object to our otherwise legal processing of your personal data. You may also object to the processing of your data for the purposes of direct marketing.

The right to data portability: In certain circumstances, you are entitled to receive your personal data in a structured, standard and machine-readable format and to transfer these personal data from one data controller to another without hindrance.

Corprate.io’s processing of personal data on users who set up a profile in order to respond to a review on behalf of an employer.

Corprate.io, CVR no. 40329099, is the data controller and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable personal data legislation, as stipulated by the EU and national authorities.

When you create a user profile, Corprate.io collects the following data about you: name, contact information, LinkedIn ID to verify your identity and information, as well as the information that you otherwise provide in connection with your response to a review and possibly correspondence with Corprate.io.

The purpose of this data collection is the response you wish to give on behalf of an employer or a recruitment agency, and which has received one or more reviews on our platform. It is also possible to set up a profile as a corporate user to use the platform. If you set up such a profile, we use your data for the purposes of giving you access to the platform.

Ratings and responses cannot contain sensitive personal data and you must avoid sending sensitive personal data to Corprate.io.

The basis for Corprate.io’s processing of your data is the contract you enter into with us on behalf of the employer you represent. Your creation of a user and application to submit a response constitutes the contract.

Our processing of your data may also be based on our legitimate interests as part of the operation of our rating platform.

Corprate.io does not share your data with others and when your response is ready for publication, this will be anonymous so that only the employer’s name is visible. This means that the review text does not contain personal data.

Corprate.io stores your data until you ask us to delete them. However, you will not be able to require your response to be deleted as after deletion of your user profile it will be entirely anonymous and as the employer you represented when you submitted the response has an interest in retaining the response.

If we believe a rating of our company to be “fake”, what actions can we take?

Corprate.io verifies all reviews and ensures that our guidelines are complied with. Find out more under our guidelines. Our team manually reads and verifies all reviews before publishing.

We have several steps implemented in our process to ensure that all users and their reviews are legitimate. However, in the event that a company believes a review to be fake, the company can choose to “flag” it and it will undergo an investigation. See below:

  1. Corprate.io contacts the candidate who has given the rating via e-mail
  2. Corprate.io will contact the candidate 3 times within a 48 hours interval and if no response Corprate.io will remove the rating for good.
  3. If Corprate.io receive a response, we will ask the person to document they have been in a recruitment process with the given company.
  4. Once received documentation Corprate.io confirms to the company weather it is a legit rating or not.
